This is An Amazing Coconut Shrimp and Rice Recipe

Shrimp is a popular choice with those who like to include seafood in their diet. It's easy to come by for most families, since most grocery stores at least have a frozen variety. Whether you choose to get frozen or fresh shrimp for this recipe, you'll certainly enjoy it for how delicious and easy it is.

All you need to do is combine all of the ingredients, save for the shrimp and snow peas, into your slow cooker. Cook on low for three hours, add the shrimp and snow peas, cook for 15 more minutes, and serve. If the rice isn't quite cooked after three hours, cook a little longer until it is tender and all of the liquid has been absorbed.

This is a flavorful recipe that is deceptively easy to make. It doesn't take long to cook compared to other slow cooker recipes out there, but it will give you enough time to complete other tasks or to just spend time with family. Making memories with your kids is always important, especially as they grow older. A slow cooker allows you to spend less time in the kitchen and more time doing what's important to you.

When purchasing your shrimp, try to buy shrimp that has been sustainably sourced. It may take a little extra time and effort, but it's worth it to protect our oceans. Too many sea creatures are regularly endangered by irresponsible fishing practices. It's best to support environmentally-conscious efforts when you can!
