Other Kid-Friendly Ideas Beginning with A

If you're in need of other ideas for your kids, look no further! We've got several more for you right here, all beginning with the letter A. Let's take a look.

  • Apples and caramel. Apples on their own might be a favorite of some kids, but very few kids hate apples and caramel. Slice up some apples and serve with a side of caramel for dipping.
  • Applesauce and cinnamon. Applesauce is a very healthy side to serve for dinner, or a great after-school snack. Throw some cinnamon on top to add extra flavor. Or, buy flavored applesauce from the store.
  • Almond Joys. If you're open to including candy in your kids' lunches, Almond Joys are a great choice that fit with the “A” theme. They're sweet, with a little savoriness from the almond. If your kids like chocolate and coconut, this is a great choice.
  • Alphabet soup. This is a fun way to get your kid more interested in eating soup. If they're unwell or it's cold, alphabet soup is the right choice. The broth will help them feel better, while the letters are sure to entertain.
  • Apple cake. Have you ever tried making apple cake? If not, why not give it a shot with your kids? Apple cake is a great choice for fall, or if you're looking to change up your usual dessert menu.
  • Apple strudel. This German pastry is a great choice for breakfast or as a snack. It can be eaten cold, but is best served warm. This is a great way to introduce your kids to foods from other cultures.
  • Dried apricots. If your kids have never tried apricots before, why not introduce them? They're a unique fruit that some kids really love. If your kids end up liking apricots, try making them a PB&J sandwich with apricot jelly.
  • Apricot jelly and toast. Speaking of apricot jelly, you can also use it as a spread on toast. Sometimes, toast and butter gets boring for kids. By using apricot jelly instead, you'll give your kids something fresh and tasty. Alternatively, if apricot isn't your kid's favorite flavor you can use apple butter to keep the “A” theme.
