Island School

Island School offers kindergarten through high school grades and is considered one of the most expensive schools in Hawaii, with a tuition of $16,000. Located in Lihue, HI, this school focuses on research-based practices. It also has much smaller class sizes, test score prep, and a 10:1 teacher-student ratio. Another thing that makes it unique is its commitment to developing character in students.

Trinity Christian School

Trinity Christian School is another school that has roughly the same tuition, offering grades K-12, with the most expensive grade reaching nearly $17,000. The school has around 300 students enrolled at the school.

Founded in 1981, Trinity Christian School offers students Christian education that focuses on Biblical principles.

Hawaiian Mission Academy

Locatied in Honolulu, Hawaiian Mission Academy Preparatory School is another school with around $13,000 for tuition. The school offers grades from 9-12.

Hawaii Pacific University has a tuition of $30,000. With around 20 schools located around the Hawaiian islands, Hawaii Pacific University is one of the most expensive. Found in 1849, Hawaii Pacific University is known as a private school that offers small class sizes and an array of educational degrees. In 2022-2023, it was ranked in the top 100 universities in the United States, ranking no. 64.

Chaminade University has just over 1,000 students enrolled in its school. Founded in 1955, this university as one of the best Catholic Universities. In 2022-2023, it achieved a ranking of no. 23 for best schools in the United States.
