Other “M” Foods Kids Will Love

If you're still in need of more ideas for your kids' meals, then we've got you. Let's check out some other “M” foods that you can give to your kids:

  • Marble cookies. These swirled cookies are sweet and chocolatey, exactly what kids love. These are perfect for dessert, or to send to school with your kids as part of their lunch.
  • Macaroni and cheese. What kid doesn't love mac and cheese? There are thousands of recipes out there for homemade mac and cheese, or buy the boxed variety from the store. If you opt to go with the latter, then try finding a boxed variety that comes in fun shapes. Kraft often releases co-branded varieties of their mac and cheese, featuring cartoon characters and other child-friendly themes.
  • Mangoes. Fruit is never a bad choice, and mangoes are no exception. They may be hard to come by depending on the season and where you live, but if you can find them they're a great option for your kids. You can also use them for smoothies and as an addition to yogurt!
  • Manicotti. This stuffed pasta is filling and comforting, making it a great choice for your whole family. Buy the shells pre-made from the store, and mix together your own filling. Manicotti are typically stuffed with a ricotta cheese mixture.
  • Macarons. Not to be confused with the similarly-named macaroons, macarons are a meringue-based dessert that's similar to a cookie. They can be challenging to make right, but with the correct recipe and some practice, you'll have a tasty addition to your kids' lunches.
  • Meatballs. Meatballs don't have to just be a side for spaghetti. They can be their own meal! Make meatball subs, or try a meatball crockpot recipe.
  • Meatloaf. Meatloaf is a cozy American classic. It's simple to make, and with the right sauce on top it's truly delicious. Your kids will love this if you serve it with French fries and a hearty amount of ketchup.
  • Mint chocolate chip ice cream. If you want a simple dessert that starts with M, why not pick up a pint of mint chocolate chip ice cream from the store? This distinct flavor is reminiscent of Thin Mints, one of the most popular flavors of Girl Scout cookies. Everyone in your family is sure to love it.
